Ally Patterson, Ph.D., BCBA-D, LBA founded Patterson Behavior Services, LLC in April of 2018.  As a Virginia-licensed (LBA) and Board Certified Behavior Analyst- Doctoral (BCBA-D), Ally works primarily with preschool and early-elementary children who have been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder.

Ally’s interest in applied behavior analysis (ABA) developed as an undergraduate at Furman University, and then as a Ph.D. student in Applied Developmental Psychology at George Mason University. While in graduate school, Ally also earned an M.A. in Applied Developmental Psychology and a graduate certificate in ABA. Ally received her Ph.D. in psychology in December 2018 and was then recognized as a BCBA-D. She is one of just a few BCBA-Ds who serve Arlington, Virginia and the surrounding area.

As a clinician and researcher, Ally has worked alongside a variety of other BCBAs, behavior technicians, teachers, administrators, and other providers in order to provide ABA services for clients ages 2 through adulthood.  Ally’s background in both developmental psychology and behavior analysis gives her special insight into the importance of each child’s early years. Her aim is always to promote long-term success for the child in his or her everyday environment.
